Berry Patch Preschool and Long Day Care Centre Brighton Le-Sands

Our newly opened Brighton Le-Sands preschool and long day care centre caters for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old, and is divided into three separate age groups.

Preschool Facilities and Amenities

Two playgrounds can be found in the outdoor areas of the Brighton-Le-Sands preschool and child care centre. Baby Berries have their own separate playground while Raspberries, Blueberries and Strawberries share a separate space.

The outdoor environments are very natural and earthy, with real plants, trees and gardens. They also exhibit different textures—soft fall, artificial grass, timber decking, pebble paths and beautiful sandstone sandpits. Vibrant and spacious, they provide kids with lots of different areas to explore. Children are shaded from the sun with large sails.

All outdoor areas have age-appropriate climbing structures and grass mounds as well as foot paths for children who want to ride their bikes. Other fixtures include slippery dips, obstacle courses, stepping stones, dry creek beds, wooden bridges, cubby houses, boat structures and timber deck stages. We also have a speaker system that plays music so youngsters can move and groove as they play.

Charlotte Walsh – Centre Director

Charlotte Walsh is the Director and Educational Leader of Brighton-Le-Sands. She holds a Diploma in Children’s Services and is currently studying towards her Bachelor Degree. Charlotte has been with the Berry Patch company for over 8 years.
